The Importance of Honoring How Far You’ve Come

Remember When You Wanted What You Have Now?

ou hear so much about the people in deep pain and struggle. And also about the people who are fucking soaring. But what about when you’re just doing great? You’re doing all the right things, bringing in all the funds you need, sharing all the love you can, and moving comfortably, steadily along on your path. Maybe not on the top of your mountain, but on the trail with plenty of provisions and a bluebird sky!

When you guide yourself by what feels authentically good and lights you up with life, then you will always be on your path. There is always something for us to heal, yes. And there is always a bigger dream to catch. But when we are on the path, just doing the damn thing and following our bliss and living in love, that needs to be acknowledged too. All too often we overlook and undervalue being in balance.

So, I see you. This is your recognition for doing great. Work on the shit that needs tending. Honor the shit that you’re proud of. Respect your flow and live in love and you’ll keep doing great until you are doing fantastic and reach that peak. And if you do happen to slip a bit on the way, judging and guilting yourself won’t do anyone any good; just learn from the slip, take a breath, and get back in the flow.

You are the creator of your reality. How wonderful is it to feel balanced and full of joy and to know that you’re doing what you’re meant to be doing in this life?

Can you give yourself a ‘fuck yes’ for doing it? Whether you fled a corporate job or bad relationship or a life of generally feeling uninspired, you did it. You are here, where you used to dream of being. You are doing it.

How great does this feel? This love letter is about acknowledgement. This article is for those on the path. Beyond the healing, beyond the pain, beyond the doubt and fear and lack. This is for those who choose to wake up and keep going, knowing that what they are doing is important to them and others. Knowing that the choices you make each day is in alignment with you and your passion.

Appreciate your damn self! Don’t you dare look for anyone to appreciate you. Don’t externalize that magic. Keep it to yourself. Lift yourself higher. And then, and only then, align with the community who is vibing as high as you are. We rise by lifting others, but not before we lift ourselves first.

You’re doing great! And how great is that?! Doesn’t it feel good to be here? Appreciate this clarity and alignment because goddess knows you haven’t always been here. This is the path of least resistance. Give yourself some love!

You are joy. You are love. You are an inspiration. You are doing great.

Keep your frequency here, or higher, by giving yourself some recognition. It is so easy to get caught up in the doing and chasing and growing, but taking time to honor where you are and where you’ve come from is incredibly powerful. Keep this momentum going and up-level your game even more! Here is what I want you to do:

  • Go to a mirror, close the door, take a deep breath and let it all go
  • Step close to the mirror, gaze deeply into your own eyes and take a minute to just sink in
  • Smile knowingly and with the soul-recognition only you can have with yourself
  • Say this aloud and with intention. Really feel it: “I’m doing great. I’m on my path, following my heart, and inspiring more people than I’ll ever know. I am committed to feeling good and making adjustments to ensure I am always in connection with my truth and with source. I love you. Thank you!”

And boom. Tell me your heart doesn’t start beating faster or your eyes water or you yawn or you become covered in chills. This kind of self-love and self-acknowledgement is what the world needs more of. This is what will affect real and lasting change. You are a deliberate creator.

This life experience is shaping you to get super clear on what you do want and especially clear on what you don’t want. You’ve likely had to deal with a lot of vibration misalignment and have risen above. That is one of the hardest things to do as humans. That clarity and inspired action, however, will become ingrained in you.

You have to care about how you feel. Abraham-Hicks says, “Feel good and then …” and fill in that blank with whatever you like. Once you feel good and then go into life, you are engaging with the world from a place of love right off the bat.

Things are always working out for you. And you’ve done the work to not only feel good but to follow your bliss. Thank you for being an example of how life can be. Your intention to live fully and full of passion raises the vibration of the collective.

You’re doing great! Celebrate!

Not doing great right now? “Painful experiences can catalyze profound healing for our souls.” Read this. You are loved and supported and divinely guided ALL THE TIME! Not only when you’re low or high, but also when you’re in the inbetween. You got this.
